Thabantsho Community Radio Station was established on 03 August 2011 by his excellent Kgoshi Boleu II Rammupudu out of a dire need to promote the culture and tradition of the community of Bakgaga Bakopa as part of the culturally diversified South Africa.

It is registered as a legal entity with the Department of Social Development – Reg No. 084-776 and registered with Electronic Act 2005 broadcasting license in terms of Community Sound Broadcasting Regulations 2006 at 91.0Mhz and spectrum license.

The above-mentioned station stretches a radius of 100km from Tafelkop, which is 19.9 km from Groblersdal.

It covers areas within the following municipalities; Makhuduthamaga, Fetakgomo, Ephraim Mogale, and Tubatse.

It is situated in a rural area of Elias Motswaledi Municipality in Sekhukhune District in Limpopo. Thabantsho as community radio is strategically local to satisfy the community's needs.
